ITV Studios America inks deal with Howley

ITV Studios America has inked a first-look development deal with unscripted exec producer Simon Howley. Howley and his shingle, Kowalski, have developed projects for ABC, CBS, the CW, ESPN, MSNBC, A&E, National Geographic, Spike, Lifetime and Bravo in the U.S. and the BBC, Five, Sky and C4 in the U.K. Previously, with Firefly/Dragonfly, he exec produced such series as "Life or Death" for Discovery and "Pirate Gold" for NatGeo. "Simon has a great track record of creating and producing programming embraced by both U.K. and U.S. broadcasters," ITV Studios America senior creative strategy veep Bruce Robertson said.
